        A.    Possesive Adjectives

        Possessive Adjectives adalah kata-kata yang dipakai untuk menyatakan kepunyaan atau milik dan diletakkan sebelum kata benda. PossessiveAdjective terdiri dari bentuk tunggal (singular) dan bentuk jamak (plural).

v  Bentuk Tunggal (singular):

Possessive Adjective (Tunggal)	Example	Artinya
My	My book	Bukuku
Her	Her bag (laki laki)	Tasnya
His	His hair (perempuan)	Rambutnya
Its	Its tail (benda/binatang)	Ekornya

v  Bentuk Jamak (plural)

Possessive Adjective (Jamak)	Example	Artinya
Our	Our school	Sekolah kita
Your	Your Office	Kantor kalian
Their	Their job	Pekerjaan mereka

                Kata kata penunjuk milik ini selalu diikuti oleh kata benda yang diterangkan.

a.       Negative sentence

1.       This is not my book

b.      Interrogative sentence

1.       Is this my book? Yes, it is/ No, it not

        B.    Possessive Pronouns

        Possessive pronouns adalah kata kata yang dipakai untuk menyatakan kepunyaan atau milik tampa kata benda.

Possessive Pronouns (Tunggal)	Artinya
Mine	Milikku
Hers	Miliknya  (perempuan)
His	Miliknya  (laki laki)
Its	Miliknya  (binatang/benda)

Possessive Pronouns (Jamak)	Artinya
Yours	Milik kalian
Ours	Milik kita
Theirs	Milik mereka

                Example :

1.       I have a cat.

Ø  Possessive Adjective      =             It is my cat

Ø  Possessive Pronouns      =             It is mine

2.       You have a dog

Ø  Possessive Adjective      =             It is your dog

Ø  Possessive Pronouns      =             It is yours

3.       We have a job

Ø  Possessive Adjective      =             It is our job

Ø  Possessive Pronouns      =             It is ours

        C.    Apostrof s (‘s)

        Pemilikan dapat juga dinyatakan dengan memakai apostrof (‘) pada akhir nama/pemiliknya.

                Example :

                        Hasan’s book = buku Hasan

                        Lina’s pen = polpen Lina

                        Andi’s bag = tas Andi

                Koma didepan huruf “s” disebut apostrof (s = apostrof s)

                For Example :

1.       That is Ani’s book

2.       That is boy’s face

3.       This is Tono’s ruler

4.       This is Boy’s mother is in the market

5.       Rudi’s sister is at school

6.       That is the girl’s room

7.       There is teacher’s room at school

8.       This is Munir’s father
