Pengertian Procedural text :
Procedural text adalah text atau tulisan yang
menjelaskan tentang cara/langkah-langkah
melakukan atau menggunakan sesuatu. Tujuannya adalah
untuk menyampaikan kepada
pembaca cara-cara atau langkah-langkah melakukan
sesuatu hal.
Generic structure/ Susunan procedural text :
1. Goal / purpose = maksud atau tujuan
ž2. Material needed = Materi/alat/bahan yang dibutuhkan
3. Methods or steps =
Metode/cara/langkah-langkah
Contoh :
Resep masakan : cara membuat telur dadar, cara membuat
nasi goreng, cara membuat
mie instant, dsb.
Cara melakukan sesuatu : cara menghidupkan tv, cara
menggunakan mesin cuci, cara
mengendarai sepeda, dsb.
Kata penghubung/ Connector sentence :
1. Firts, second, third, .... = Pertama, kedua, ketiga,
.....
ž2. Firts of all = Pertama-tama
3. Then =
kemudian
4. After that = setelah itu
5. Next = berikutnya
